Earthwise Packaging One-Year Limited Warranty - HotShot™ Pro Cartridge Fillers

WHAT IS COVERED BY THIS WARRANTY?

Earthwise Packaging warrants the Earthwise Packaging-branded hardware product against defects in materials and workmanship when used normally in accordance with Earthwise Packaging's guidelines for a period of ONE (1) YEAR from the date of original retail purchase by the end-user purchaser ("Warranty Period"). Warranty only valid to original owner.

ADDITIONAL COVERAGE INFO FOR SPECIFIC PRODUCTS

• Two (2) years on the aluminum components
• One (1) year on the electronics and piston seal
• Three (3) months on the Anova heating element

WHAT IS NOT COVERED BY THIS WARRANTY?

Earthwise Packaging does not warrant that the operation of the Earthwise Packaging Product will be uninterrupted or error-free. Earthwise Packaging is not responsible for damage arising from failure to follow instructions relating to the Earthwise Packaging Product’s use:
This warranty does not apply: (a) to consumable parts, such as protective coatings that are designed to diminish over time unless failure has occurred due to a defect in materials or workmanship;
(b) to cosmetic damage, including but not limited to scratches, dents, and broken plastic on ports unless failure has occurred due to a defect in materials or workmanship;
(c) to damage caused by use with a third-party component or product that does not meet the Earthwise Packaging Product’s specifications;
(d) to damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, fire, earthquake, or other external cause;
(e) to damage caused by operating the Earthwise Packaging Product outside Earthwise Packaging’s published guidelines;
(f) to damage caused by service performed by anyone who is not a representative of Earthwise Packaging or an Earthwise Packaging Authorized Service Provider (“EPASP”);
(g) to an Earthwise Packaging Product that has been modified to alter functionality or capability without the written permission of Earthwise Packaging;
(h) to defects caused by normal wear and tear or otherwise due to the normal aging of the Earthwise Packaging Product;
(i) if any serial number has been removed or defaced from the Earthwise Packaging Product; or
(j) if Earthwise Packaging receives information from relevant public authorities that the product has been stolen or if you are unable to prove in any way that you are the authorized user of the product.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

BEFORE RECEIVING WARRANTY SERVICE, EARTHWISE PACKAGING OR ITS AGENTS MAY REQUIRE THAT YOU FURNISH PROOF OF PURCHASE DETAILS, RESPOND TO QUESTIONS DESIGNED TO ASSIST WITH DIAGNOSING POTENTIAL ISSUES, AND FOLLOW EARTHWISE PACKAGING'S PROCEDURES FOR OBTAINING WARRANTY SERVICE:
Earthwise Packaging's sole responsibility shall be to repair OR replace the defective items. This warranty does not apply to defects not caused by Earthwise Packaging.

WHAT WILL EARTHWISE PACKAGING DO IN THE EVENT THE WARRANTY IS BREACHED?

If during the Warranty Period you submit a claim to Earthwise Packaging or an EPASP in accordance with this warranty, Earthwise Packaging will, at its option:
(i) repair the Earthwise Packaging Product using new or refurbished used parts that are equivalent to new in performance and reliability, or (ii) replace the Earthwise Packaging Product with a product that is at least functionally equivalent to the Earthwise Packaging Product and is formed from new and/or previously refurbished parts that are equivalent to new in performance and reliability. Earthwise Packaging may request that you replace certain user-installable parts or products.
