Shrink sleeve labels are a great choice for professional branding because they cover more of your product’s container than traditional labels. They also have a built-in tamper-evident perforated seal.

Unlike other types of shrink-sleeve labeling equipment that require frequent repairs and recalibration, the SST is easy to use and works well with PET, PVC, and OPS labels.

Using steam heat to shrink and seal the labels is preferred because it applies them without damaging the product inside. Additionally, steam heat reduces wrinkles and bubbles, which can be a problem with other heat application methods such as heat guns. Unlike traditional glued labels, shrink sleeve labels come off easily without damaging the container or leaving sticky residue, making them a more environmentally friendly option.

Upgrade to a Steam Head Version 2 for improved compatibility with heavier, glass, and uniquely shaped packaging. This advanced steam head features a servo-actuated stopper, which momentarily pauses sleeved containers midway for an additional burst of heat. This extra heating time ensures a smooth and bubble-free shrink wrap on heavy containers such as glass tinctures, bottles, jars, and cans.

Furthermore, the Steam Head Version 2 enables larger and more intricate sleeves and containers to be fully wrapped in just one second. This enhancement makes it much easier to shrink sleeves around deep grooves and curves. The motorized system is also equipped with “ready-to-go” lights that indicate when to catch and insert the next container.
